First ever STEEL STILETTO award!

For those of you that know me, you are aware that I walk to the beat of my own drum...meaning that I really stick to my guns and do my own thing. I don't like compromising my principles for anything. I have to be true to myself.  This often leads to me being black balled, looked down upon and overall being shunned by certain circles, but I'm OK with that.

It is a rare occasion when I find a brave soul, either in SL or RL, that has the strength of character to remain true to him/herself in the face of certain harsh repercussions.  Because of this, I have decided that when I do find a person of such high level of integrity and strength of character that I must award him or her the STEEL STILETTO award.

For the first winner of this award, I have chosen a woman who's class, poise, intelligence, grace and professionalism I see as top in her class.  This woman has put in all of the hard work necessary to earn the respect of everyone in the fashion industry.  Even though she has reached a level of fame most only dream of, she is still honest, genuine and approachable, without the slightest hint of Divadom.

Recently she, in a fashion befitting the style of Margaret Thatcher, with utmost grace, tact and poise, stood up for herself and refused to compromise her ideals and sense of self deciding to become independent of a very glamorous and prestigious fashion icon house.  This is not to say that the fashion house she is parting ways from is wrong in any way, but simply that they want very different things.

I applaud her valor in recognizing when it was time to leave the party. Most of us, stay far too long in positions, organizations and relationships that have long outlived their usefulness for either party.  It takes a very strong sense of self in order to recognize when it is time to move on.  Because of her beauty, intelligence, grace, poise and overall elegance in making her feelings known and exiting with the utmost class, I am awarding the very first STEEL STILETTO award to Miss Rusalka Callisto!

Miss Callisto, thank you for showing the rest of us, what it is like to be the best in every situation.  Your grace under fire is an inspiration to us all!

Tres Beau in Fashion for Life

My dearest readers,

RL work is kicking my behind so it's keeping me away from SL for a while. However, when there is such a worthy event as Fashion for Life I must take the time to bring attention to it.  http://www.fashionforlifesl.org/

For those of you that aren't aware of Fashion for Life, it is a great event filled with amazing creations by SL's top designers.  This event is a fundraiser for cancer research! I know my family has been touched by cancer many times over and I can personally tell you that we need to find a way to beat this monster.  I urge you to visit the inworld location and check out all of the stores.  They have amazingly beautiful fashions and the money goes to a worthy cause.  Here's Tres Beau's store to get you started: http://slurl.com/secondlife/DreamSeeker%20Epoque/118/127/27

Kimmera Madison is presenting as one of her limited edition Fashion for Life gowns, a custom gown she created for me: Red Carpet in Royal Blue.  It's a fantastic formal gown, in the usual flawless design she is known for.  This is a royal blue satin gown with silver lace overlay that has a chapel length train.  It is a body hugging mermaid silhouette, which brings out all of your deliciously dangerous curves.  The top is adorned with a one shoulder design of it's soft satin draped and  topped off with silver roses that frame the face delicately.  Ladies, this gown is breathtaking! I suggest you get your smexy butts over there ASAP and get it before it's gone forever.

Here are some pictures so you can see it for yourself!

hehe...had to show you how great it makes your butt look!
